That has to be a Compendium mistake (the loss of Abjure Undead and Divine Guidance)--it's not mentioned in the update PDF or the Char Builder. I don't really care about losing the possibility for Leather, but I would be seriously pissed if the Channel Divinity powers, of all things, were nerfed. The two things that immediately stand out as a fan of the Avenger are the Bloodclaw nerf and Armor of Faith nerf. Avengers had their weakness (Fort), and AC was supposed to be a strong-suit. And suffering damage, even if it amounted to a small amount, is still using up a resource that Avengers have precious little of (not in hit point totals but in healing surges).
The bloodclaw nerf also affects barbarians so I'm not sure it was such a bad thing, but still, it's turned what was a decent weapon into a pointless weapon. Once per encounter just isn't a big enough incentive to use it at all now.
EDIT: OMG, AND they've nerfed Divine Guidance and made it Divine Fate. Doesn't work for attack rolls anymore, only saves and skill checks.
These kinds of sweeping changes are BS.
EDIT 2: Wait, as if those multiple nerfs weren't enough, they've also gotten rid of Abjure Undead from the Avenger's list of abilities.
Not. Happy. Jan.
I think there's an error in the errata. The updated Double Scimitar and Zulaat have their entries confused as the Double Scimitar's secondary half is considered an axe, which I think is supposed to be the Zulaat.
Nothing about that in the PDF.EDIT: OMG, AND they've nerfed Divine Guidance and made it Divine Fate. Doesn't work for attack rolls anymore, only saves and skill checks.

Nah, that just refers to pushes, pulls, and slides. Teleporting a monster isn't governed by those rules.Check page 44 of the DMG.
