After starting to play 4th ed, Sacred Purification reminds me a little of healing surges, except that in this case the cleric activates a healing surge for everyone within range (whether friend or foe), in that it keeps the party adventuring for longer before it must take an 'extended rest'.
Kurt has only used it once so far. He really only has the feat as a prerequisite for Sacred Purification. Although, it might come in very handy for treating poisonSacred Healing looks very useful as well. But, I guess you've known that for some time, too.
