Ring of the Fey Lord (DM:Atanatotatos, Judge:Lord Sessadore)Up:Lorik, etc.

[sblock=Let's get this show on the road]Let's keep going. If Joe comes back before we take an extended rest, great. Otherwise, morning seems like a better IC time to talk about grabbing some new blood from the tavern. Besides, the PHB2 will be approved soon, which should result in some more potential recruits.[/sblock]

ooc: yeah. I sent joe a pm but in any case I'll update later today. Please state your course of actions, if there are important details. (stealth, formation, etc.)

ooc: Our previous formation should still be fine. I don't remember exactly what it was, though... I suspect stealth will be futile, except for perhaps Heinrich scouting ahead. I believe our plan was to go on to the cabin and rest, possibly getting ambushed. ;)

ooc: Hmm, stealth. Well, I have +1 from dex, whatever bonus I can get from Shadow Walk, and oh, right, I'm carrying a miniature sun. Stealth's not really a thing I'll be doing.

[sblock=OOC]I think the sunrod in 3.x was a 30 ft. radius ... not the absolute total overkill of the 4e sunrod. And it is overkill, I'm sure you'll all agree - that thing's as bright as a bonfire! ;)[/sblock]

[sblock=current stats]I considered two sets of Healing word (3 hp each); hope it's alright.
Uhmm... did Lorik spend his AP? Not sure...

23-Ikni HP:31/31 S:5/11, AP:1
18-Lorik HP:27/29 S:4/11 AP:2
11-Haruka HP:30/30 S:7/10 AP:1
9-Heinrich HP:24/24 S:4/7 AP:2
8-Derien HP:22/26 S:8/9 AP:2

After resting for a bit, the group starts marching in West direction. The terrain is plain despite the many trees, so the speed is not hindered. However, after half an hour, when everything beyond the 100ft of the magical light is dark, the vegetation and wild life start to change slightly. Many more bugs, rainbow-coloured, glitter reflecting the bright light of Haruka's sunrod; more snakes, vines, mush; the humidity in the air is much higher. After two hours of marching, you're indeed in a swampy forest.
In the distance, you see a couple dim lights that mark your goal: there's a wooden hut, partially revealed by a couple of torches, although the rest is completely dark.

[sblock=map]you can adjust your position in that general area. The map is pretty easy. Trees are blocking terrain and offer cover, except partially-covered squares, which are normal terrain; the water is shallow, but it's difficult terrain. The pavement in the North-East area is about 5ft high, but you can access it from the "opening" on the left, one square of difficult terrain. The "low vegetation" squares are difficult terrain, too; they offer cover if you're prone.[/sblock]

ooc: Looks like we have room to spread out a bit and avoid fireball formation. Shall we head for the general vicinity of J26 or so and see what we can see from there? I feel like we want to control access to the high ground. That might be a safe place for our ranged folks to hang out, though it might also be a devious trap.

Is that an initiative list? And didn't we get a fresh AP after the last fight? Assuming it is, Ikni will double move to K30, assuming she makes her athletics check to jump over the water: 20 should do it. I hope I've counted that movement right...

ooc: Forgot two things: 1 fresh AP for everyone, and new initiative rules.
From now on, I'll make the average of your and the enemies' initiative. Also, your initiative order is the order you post in (unless you specify you want to delay). If you post within 24h of my post, +1 to one roll of your choice. You'll need it
