Deepnight Revelation - Expeditions | Deepnight Revelation - Riftsedge Transit | Deepnight Revelation - The Far Side of Yonder | Deepnight Revelation - Voidshore by Mongoose Publishing
  • SYSTEM: Traveller Core Rulebook Update 2022 (print preorder)
  • PRODUCT TYPE: hardcovers
  • RETAIL PRICE: $49.99/$44.99 each
  • OTHER RPG NEWS: Traveller Core Rulebook review
  • DESCRIPTION: Expeditions includes encounters and points of interest that can be inserted into the exploration of any star system and short incidents that may expand into larger adventures, along with three new spacefaring species. Also contains four full adventures. In the Riftsedge Transit, Travellers encounter wonders and terrors on the fringe of the Great Rift. They travel beyond Charted Space with years of travel ahead. The Alikaia are a spacefaring race completely unknown in Charted Space. The Travellers have an opportunity for a rescue mission followed by complex negotiations in a complex first-contact situation where nothing is quite what it seems. The Far Side of Yonder is far to spinward of any known system and home to the Droyne. A freeport on the edge of explored space, Tradeport is a dangerous place but with the jump drive on the verge of breakdown the Travellers have little choice but to plunge into its turbulent politics. The Travellers also encounter a mysterious race of what appear to be intelligent plants. Their biological starships are pushing into human-dominated space and conflict seems inevitable. Voidshore is the final leg of the voyage. It is a region of space between the Great Rift and the edge of the Spiral Arm. The Travellers must engage in battle against a great biological starship to prevent the rapid spread of the Biologicals. Deep in the Voidshore the Travellers encounter a three-ship expedition from the Solomani Confederation and the PCs’ actions will decide if the Solomani are enemies or allies. Everything wraps when the Travellers confront the Deepnight Entity.

If you dig T2K, the Weapons Deck is a great, low-price add to your collection. I've thus far only played the game as a skirmish system (in large part to become familiar with the combat system) and having cards to hand out with weapon stats makes it easy to keep combat moving quickly when, for example, a PC picks up the dropped weapon of an enemy. Hand card over; keep the action going.

@Charles Dunwoody Is this the right price? It's US$59.95 on their website. Might be a muddle of similarly priced books before and after it.
