RPGs at the movies

And who could forget Gary Gygax's appearance on an episode of Futurama?

"Hello, I'm Gary Gygax and it's a..." Gary pauses to roll a dice. "...Pleasure to meet you!" :D

I know Freddy tended to kill people according to their specific fears and weaknesses. Does anyone remember if that kid met his end in some sort of D&D related fashion?
As I remember, it was in a hallway, and the kid should have kicked Freddy's butt with his imagination.

But Freddy just made the kid 'flinch' and then stabbed him in the chest with his razors. :(

Don't forget the Lone Gunmen TV show that was on Fox. Weren't they playing D&D for money?

Also in Stargate SG-1, when they were searching a Ga' ould on Earth, Daniel was showing them a slide show for refrences. One of them was from WW's Vampire game. Well so I have been told.

There was also a Friday the 13th "The Series" episode where a group of college kids had an evil incense burner. When they played a D&D style game they were actually playing the game. There characters got hurt, they got hurt. One kid died. As I recall the Investigators had to play the game to beat them.

First Season of Charles in Charge, one of the kids he watched played D&D. Yes I used to watch WAAAYYYY to much TV.

In the movie Airheads, there is the scene where Brendan Fraser confessed he played D&D in high school and someone in the audience replies "I played D&D too."

One of my favorites:
In the TV series Jessie with Christina Applegate, there's an episode where she ends up dating a dungeon master who takes her to his game. She has her character kill all the other PCs so she can end the date.

Many references in NewsRadio...
1. There's one episode where Mathew sings a song about his Mithral Chain Shirt and killing a dragon with his Vorpal Sword.
A bunch more, including one where Dave mentions rolling d20's.
