Northman

First Post
I am sorry to say that after many moons of CMing (what has it been? Three years?) I am going to have to take a leave of absence.

My life has become such that I can no longer be a part of this community with any regularity. My plate is too full.

I hope that in the future I can return to the place I helped create, but I don't know if that will happen. I would like to keep the keys to the front door though in case my life changes enough to allow me time for this again, if that's okay with you guys.

It's been a long road with some great experiences along it. I'll never forget the days of creating the gods, the world, and the history. I don't know if that colaborative feat will ever be duplicated online. It's been a lot of fun.

I won't just fade away, causing you to wonder if I'm still around or lying in a ditch somewhere. I want you to know that my heart is here, if I can no longer be.

Thank you to Emiricol especially for all the hard work and help over the years. You are still the heart and soul of this place. It has been a pleasure working along side you.

To the rest of you, keep it alive. Keep it going. Come up with fresh new ideas. Run games. Include new people. Have fun.

God bless you all,
Brian

No! It's not possible! But ... but ...

But, I understand. Go forth, and God bless, and you'll be welcome back as long as the Kingdoms live. We'll miss you, man.

P.S. How old is the blue dragon in Lake Valdorane?
P.P.S. If you email me any further notes you may have had on the Frost Giant storyline, I'll do my best to keep it going in whatever direction you'd intended. I'm now most easily reachable at memnus (at) gmail.com.

To the Brian known as Northman,

I'm truly sorry to see you leaving us. You've always been one of the most active CMs, contributing far more than you ever took from this place :) But, I understand about real life interfering (as it tends to do now and again).

Good luck on your other pursuits, Brian. I think I speak for just about everyone when I say that as long as there's a T13K, there's a spot for you if you do find the time to return to the project.

Best,

-Emiricol

Brian,

Now how am I supposed to pursue the Horun-Nylaethia-Suerl love triangle?

Good luck with your endeavors. As Emiricol said, as long as we are here you are welcome. I wish you the best.

Thanks for the kind words.

I hope that one day I can return, though I can't see when that would be. It would be nice to check in now and then and see a more vibrant, active world.

Now I have to tell my players... :(
