Naked and living in a barrel
A few people here recommanded Saga, so I bought and read the first trade paperback. I am pleasantly surprised. The art is a bit so so for me, but genre is interesting (space-fantasy), the entire universe is so original (the robots, the rocket trees) without being goofy, the baby being the narrator, no special quest about saving the galaxy, etc, it is refreshing.
I like the cover art too. A woman standing up, head held high, holding a laser gun, on equal footing with the male and breastfeeding? Yes! More positive female images like that, please!
Anyway, thanks to those who recommanded it. I hope the rest is as good.
