i know we have a forum for TV discussions, but i thought, as this isn't really a discussion, more of a heads up, it'd be ok. plus it might get significantly more attention here. if the mods feel otherwise, then please move it and accept my apologies.

with the seeming impending cancellation of Firefly, Joss Whedon's new sci-fi show, a petition has been started to keep it on the air. to everyone who's interested, please go sign it.

Gosh darn Fox for putting it on at a bad timeslot.

They did the same thing with Millenium, Space: Above and Beyond, and other shows that had potential but died.

I usually couldn't care less about online petion to save this or that, but Firefly is a really good, unique show that has a lot of potential. It would be a shame for it to be cancelled because its been given a bum time slot and almost no promotion. Oh well. We'll see what happens.

Man, I didn't think much of Firefly from the first couple of shows, but I stuck with it, and man, it's awesome. I can't believe it could be cancelled. Damn network execs.
