scorching ray and sneak attack

can you get multiple sneak attacks off a scorching ray. since, you get three rays w/11 lvls of sor/wiz if you have lvls of rg can you get 3 snk attcks if you catch your opp w/out dex? It is 3 rolls for 3 rays?

No, you just get one sneak attack. Its similiar to Many Shot you also get only one sneak attack. There is somewhere a rule about precision based damage and multiple attacks in one standard action. I'm sure somebody will come up with reference in a minute.

With spell effects that allow you to make multiple attack rolls, such as the energy orb spells or the Split Ray feat from Tome and Blood, you must treat the effect like a volley -- only the first attack can be a sneak attack.
