I agree on the dividing the matriarchal and gender neutral entries. As for what I put down:
  • IMC, the setting is primarily matriarchial or gender neutral
  • The players are about 50/50
  • IMC, male players have played female characters
  • Female players have played male characters
  • Female players have played female characters
  • IMC, there are gay PCs

  • In my group there are gay players
  • Romance/sex is PG (OK up to age 12 or so)
  • Romance/sex is PG-13 (OK for 13-17, but not younger)
  • My campaign is more wahoo (kewl dragonborn) than traditional fantasy (fairies and centaurs)

I put two romance ones since it depends on the feel of the campaign. Usually it is more sex and less romance. When you got really adult, gritty campaigns being run sex is something that comes up.

I didn't put down families but they do appear just not as frequent to warrant a point. I would put that more under significant recurring NPCs. This one also it is mainly just NPCs (like Cat) not settings, I make a new setting each campaign (though if you mean a place in a setting, usually is very centric and urban based).

My campaign is gender neutral, completely egalitarian.
My campaign is about 50/50 composition, 2f/3m to be exact.
I've had each gender play members of their own gender and the opposite.
There are gay NPCs (well only bisexual ones have appeared, but there are theoretically gay ones)
No one has elected to play a gay character yet
Romance is generally handled off-screen, it's roughly PG-13 in game, out of game it goes to X-rated
I can't say there's a disconnect between the wahoo kewl fantasy and traditional fantasy in my campaign.
There's a lot of roleplaying in my campaign, there's usually a single fight per session. There are dungeon crawls, but they are rare.

I think we are focusing far too much on sexism in a forum that is supposed to be free of social commentary.

You also left out asexual people, characters, and campaigns, for some reason.

Well we are just 1% of the population (damn that number being so low, makes it hard to date people *mumbles, mumbles*) But overall a fair bit of gender and sexuality was left out. Transgender, Intersex, Gender-Queer, etc. Then for sexualities; Asexual, Bisexual, Pansexual, etc.

True enough.

How RPGs work in practice is hardly 'social'. If we are not allowed to discuss the games and how they are played, well, what are we then doing here?

I try to make my campaigns relatively gender-neutral, though I admit I do it more when I have female players (which I sadly don't have right now).

Right now it's a little less equality involved, as one of my active campaigns (and the one we play every week, as opposed to the one we play every other week) is a fairly historical viking campaign.

And I err favouring some sort of historical correctness over gender neutrality - there has so far been no female warriors for instance, and most authority figures have been male.
I'll introduce some more important women, now that I think of it.

The other campaign is much more traditional fantasy, although most of the 4e tropes are in it, and more gender neutral.

Sex is basically a non-issue when I DM. Relations (with or without PCs involved in them) are there, but I'm not in to describing sexual scenes - much for the same reason I don't involve much about the basic physical needs, i.e. I don't know how to make it interesting to the story.
When it plays a part in the story I have no problems with it, but it's not graphical. I can't see the point - I doubt I could arouse my players, and I think they'd be slightly embarassed by it.
Sexual violence (between NPCs) is something I have used before, and would do again, for much the same reason it's common in detective stories - it makes people angry and involved.

You only get 10 minutes to type the poll questions before it times out and leaves you with a post with no poll. Doh!

Also, the subjects you're bringing up weren't ones I saw in the "sexist" discussion.

Oh np, I gotcha. I just was meaning that there was more then just asexual missing. I think you are hitting on the biggest ones (largest populations and all that) and as you said the ones that this thread is related too so best to focus on that.
