Shadowdancer's Hide in plain Sight

Yes, but if it was dark before, the shadowdancer might have fewer places to go than she had before.

Or more... ;)

Also, maybe you can turn the remaining shadows if your cleric level is high enough. ;):D:p *ponders creating an epic feat for that*

Alas, only the shadowdancer or the shadow itself can do that...

The shadow cannot be turned, rebuked, or commanded by any third party.

And this is exactly what True Seeing does - related to yourself. It alters ambient conditions for you, like making darkness/shadows (especially magical) irrelevant for your sight.
So you're saying the creature would lose the Str and Dex bonus against you?

No, because that is unrelated, unlike the shadow in the actual case.

There's the flaw in your example:

Ability bonuses and fire - unrelated.
Hiding and shadow - related.

No, it's not unrelated. The creature gets the bonus because it's near fire; otherwise, it doesn't get it.

It's completely unrelated. The ability combines two effects, which are unrelated.

Normally (without the 'some like it hot' ability), fire does not grant ability bonuses. Unrelated.
Normally (without the HiPS ability), shadow allows to hide. Related.
