"Good point. Most probably the book belongs to them, though. If it´s been stolen, maybe a reward awaits you."

"The guard mentioned something about the university, didn't he? Perhaps we can start there in the morning." Stulgar suggests.

"That's a good idea. The guy worked there who died, right? They probably are more likely to know stuff instead of wanting to get people embroiled in amoral politics or something."

Stulgar nods, "Aye, and I'm sure they'll know how to get usefull info out of the book as well."

"Fine, so we go there tomorrow? Fine, let's take a drink." he turns his attention to Shoot. "I didn't knew that warforged could be made from wood. Darkwood, right? And what is the advantage of such material?"

Shoot looked up, pleased that someone had noticed him in all the commotion. Oh, it was the dwarf that he had 'fixed'! He wondered if the dwarf would be friendly.

"That's right, it's dark wood. Advan?...oh, they said it would let me use magic better because the metal and stuff ruins the magic. I've got some metal in me (he said while displaying his elbow and shoulder joints) ...but not too much to ruin the magic. I fixed you, so it must work good!", he concluded.

Note that the symbol on the journal is not easily recognizable as the symbol of House Cannith that many who are familiar with the dragonmarked houses would recognize.

"To work magic... what kind of magic do you work? Divine, nature, arcane?" wonder Kharas. Marvelous, they are as intelligent than a man, and they can work magic... it's pretty much the greatest craft work humanoids have ever made.

"I do nature magic!", beamed Shoot proudly. Pointing to Siobhan, he continued: "She gave me berries, and I made them magic. When you ate them, they fixed you!"
