(Shhhhh... Have all of the "Gencon" people left...?)

No game this weekend, just no money for GenCon. And I'm only three hours away! Well, I could have gone, but not bought anything. And what fun is that?
I'll be spending time with my little girl this weekend, and maybe concocting some plans for my wednesday game. They were interested in two plot hooks last game. First one was a captain with a treasure map looking for crew, second was a mercenary company needing men to fight undead in a neighboring country. They've decided to steal the captain's map, then head to fight the undead. That way they can go after the treasure on their leisure after they've gotten rich and famous battling undead. And the captain won't be able to take the treasure either -- he won't have the map!

I'm just keeping the PbPs on my board going as usual...nothing special at all. Running lots of games...
-One is a 5th level group(Samurai, Monk, Ranger, Cleric) doing the usual adventuring. They're soon off to begin work on saving the Dragons from some Illithids that have gotten hold of the Orbs of Dragonkind(yep, long term goal there)
-Another is a gourp of 19th level PCs (Planar Champion, Cleric, Arcane Trickster, Sorcerer) who are working through ancient evil temples off out in the sea. Two of the PCs are on their way to Godhood, with two others probably working towards Sainthood.
-Then there's the d20 Modern game with only 2 PCs(Smart/Dedicated, Fast/Martial Artist). They've found out that they're afflicted with lycanthropy just a short while ago, so now they're trying to figure out how it happened and get it cured at the same time.
-Also a BESM/SWd20 game with 2 PCs(Ninja/Shapechanger, Mecha Pilot/Shapechanger). They're playing off both sides of the Galactic Civil War. Currently stuck on Tatooine trying to free an Ithorian botanist so they can get in good favour with the Rebels and work up some favours from them.
-I'm also trying to get a Gladiator styled game started again. PC vs. PC stuff. Probably things like King of the Hill, Capture the Flag...races, and other things. We've already done the straight out fights, so now the PC(about 8 of them) want to have some interesting little games.
I am playing in a couple games too...hmmm...*thinks*
-Playing an Illithid in a Monsters game. We're hunting a group of food...erm, humans at the moment. Rest of the group is a Succubus, Frost Giant, Barbed Devil, and Rakshasa. They're all plotting to kill each other eventually, but they've got a common goal at the moment.
-Also playing a Rogue/Fighter in a Golden Age type game. He's a ladies man(or thinks he is) and has just followed a murderer(who HAPPENS to be female) and is about to start a huge fight just so he can find out her name and why she winked at him and ran away.

Half my groupis gone to Gencon. So I am taking Sunday off from gaming. Will spend time with family and editing some Plot hooks for the Cooperative Dungeon 3. Then if I actually get that done start editing Cooperative 4 as well as working on editing rules for my Homebrew system's magic system. Plan to run a campaign in a year or so and need to work out the rules some since the last campaign.
That will be plenty enough to keep me busy but still doing Gaming stuff.

DM'ing a new Eberron game. PC's are 3rd level, and soon-to-be out of work. That's when things take a turn for the interesting...
It's going to be a tour of Eberron sort of game, where they go different places throughout Khorvaire, meet interesting people, and save them (or kill them - you never can tell).

Part of my group is at GenCon, but we'll be playing sometime next week. As for this weekend, watching kids, I'm afraid. Not exactly the most exciting.

The bi-weekly game continues on!
I'm the DM. The PCs have recently gone back to Baldur's Gate after suffering some pain in the Palace of the Silver Princess. They have just finished designing and building a "war wagon" with the help of the party cleric of Gond, and are about to head back to the Palace.

Lessee...none of my group members had enough dinero or time off for GenCon, so...
*The High Adventure! 7th Sea game is Friday - woot, the crew of the Dawn Ranger gets to sail across the sea to Castille and rescue a little girl from Vaticine City! Fortunately, we have an actor with us...
*Sunday, the Stargate SG-0 gmae kicks into high gear - the ShadowGate team gets on the trail of the missing ex-Vice President Kinsey, and tries to unravel the mystery of Case 6 before it's too late.
