Yeah, I'm in on the consensus of "Sigil doesn't float ANYWHERE".

Alternately, I do like the appeal of it floating above the tallest mountain on the Material Plane. Definately crazy mythic with that, but less PS-y.

The written word is a dangerous thing, and perhaps I took your statement about using your power to include Sigil more literally than I should have. Likewise, I fear the tone of my post was harsher than intended. Please accept my apology for both.

I still hold my opinion of Sigil--I do not think it it will fit in 4E if it's just ported over. But I think you have a fantastic story team that could effectively re-envision Sigil for 4E. In doing so, I think Sigil will be very different from the Planescape Sigil (something that I would be fine with!)

It's a paragraph in the DMG. A paragraph. I can see a re-envisioning with a supplement, but all a paragraph's going to tell you is that it exists. Which, honestly, is fine with me.
