Slivers are evil, Slivers are sly....

Kitsune: If you think that is bad, wait until you see the essence sliver. ;)

Devon: Fixed! Got any other comments? They would be appreciated. :D

I suppose I'd want to add a higher-level healing spell option that would also negate the 1d4 Con loss caused by the decomposing proto-sliver.

All in all, though, it looks pretty tight. A great critter.

True, I wouldn't want to begrudge a little parting shot of 1d4 Con... I simply recall that things like remove curse are usually mentioned in situations like this as a catch-all for bad infectious stuff.

Mechanically, it makes sense how you've engineered it.

Why thank you, I do try :D

As for Remove Curse, I actually contemplated it, but decided against it due to the fact that the damage is done by a decomposing sliver fetus. :D

Just a thought, but why not change the wording on the sliver ability to "all slivers share the extraordinary and supernatural abilities of this sliver"? This way you can have...say...a pseudonatural sliver give everybody it's alternate form, or the possessor template, or worse. >)

Not a prob, I would even say sharing psionic and spell-like abilities may not be too far fetched, but then every sliver would have the queens powers and yeuch that could get messy. You may want to specify certain powers that aren't shared if there are any on the queen that you don't want the average drone having. ;)
