I was running the KOTS, just myself, to test it out and get used ot 4th ed before hitting my players.
As DM, coming up with easy ways of doign things is helpful, so here's a tip for PCs I came up with
for 4th ed, put your hit points, # of heal surges and strength, and abilities on a post it note, or like.
Easy way you keep track of things, score them out as used, and not mess up your main character sheet.
Post its are cheap, easy to use, and you will go through a LOT of abilities/surges etc as you game, as fights are much faster than in 3rd, so, more fights per game session.
