Smallville 03.03.04 [SPOILERS]

A good show but those damn green rocks are getting old. I guess Adam is not Batman. ;)
Nope, they already said he wasn't. The producers were going to introduce a young Bruce Wayne this season (or perhaps next) but the new Batman movie torpedoed any hope of that. Something about rights, I think.

So, someone post a huge chunk of spoilerage in a big black box? I missed it totally, and I'm dying to hear what happened, esp to poor Adam.

I only caught the last ten minutes of the episode, starting with Lana and Adam in the basement; what I saw was pretty decent.

Did anyone else have Brood War flashbacks when Lionel took the pistol out? It took me a minute to remember where I'd seen that scene before.

Uber spoilage.

Clark gets phone call of Lana being shot.

Later analysis of recording of phone call reveals it is from the future and is of Adam shooting Lana during a storm.

Lex and Lionel tangle over the serum lab once or twice. Lionel shuts down the lab while Adam escapes, killing everything in his way. Martial arts masta!

Clark and Lex go to find Adam to stop him after Clark reveals that he knows Lex is involved some how. Lex gets setup for the deaths and the project by Lionel.

Lex cuts a deal with an FBI agent of some what questionable loyalty to bring down Lionel for his own freedom.

Clark manages to stop the shooting, revealing his powers to Adam by piecing together bits of clues from the call. Adam had made it all the way back to Smallville looking for his last batches of serum to keep himself alive. When Lana didn't have them in storage things got violent.

The call from the future happens because lightning and meteor rocks interact with the phone line. Blech. Meteor rocks just lying in a puddle in a parking lot mind you.

Adam seemingly expires from lack of serum before he can reveal Clark's secret but warns him that Lionel will not give up and will continue to hound Clark.

Lionel hires someone else to pick up the serum project. Reveals he has a terminal case of a rare liver disease and considers swallowing a bullet from a handgun to classical music.

I'm sure I'm missing details.

I think it was more like a
Russian Opera
. Much more feeling than if it had just been Beethoven.

That doesn't make any sense if you ask me and there for is probably the right answer...

How WB, who owns the rights to both character, live action, print, animation, etc could have issues about rights seems to stupid to fathom...

Oh well maybe I can trick myself into believing that their will be no Bruce Wayne interaction with Clark because their going to make a batman version of Smallville after they finish with Smallville.

As for the meteor rocks: it’s the flaw of the character and they need them plain and simple.

I have no problem with the rocks being in nearly every ep. Just as I had no problem with vampires being in nearly every ep of Buffy. ;)
