I wish I had TV..... it is such a long wait til' September to get the collected copies on DVD.

See this is why I can't live with TV. I can do without reruns, just not waiting until it comes out DVD. :p :)

Interesting episode to say the least. Didn't like the fact taht there was more going on in the world of Lex/Lana than in the world of Clark, but wht can you do about it. I know the show is supposed to be based off the comics, but a question regarding that. Did Lex/Lana divorce? At least imo the marriage won't last anyway, and hopefully losing Lana will seriously push Lex over the edge.
Lex never married Lana. Back when Superman debuted in Metropolis, Lex had his scientists going over all info on Supes. Said scientists discovered that a red-headed woman was present in several Superman appearances (Lana was deeply affected by the break-up with Clark and learning he had powers, and began following him when he became SUperman). Lex had her kidnapped and tortured to know Supes' identity, but she never revealed anything.

Many years later, when Lex ran for President of the USA, his vice-president was Pete Ross, who was married to Lana Lang. When Lex went loony, Pete took office and Lana became First Lady. She later divorced Pete, and is now the new CEO of Lexcorp (Luthor was removed from the company a while ago, and putting a pro-active former First Lady as CEO was a move by the directors' board to help Lexcorp's image).

I thought from the vapor trail and his eyes that it was Red Tornado. Goes to show what I know. I was like, why is a robot dropping oreo cookies everywhere? :)

Thanks for that. Didn't realize that there was such a big gap. :uhoh:

IN any case...I don't think people would have guessed that the "glowy red eye guy" was the machine Red Tornado since a) he's kind of a second stringer to Superman and b) this is Superman we're talking about. Next to have a GL member (your pick as to who), MM is a pretty "iconic" character.

Agreed Don. GL's power would like drain the S-FX budget of the show for the concieveable future. Even in this day and age of CGI stuff, GL's powers almost make him impossible for a small screen budget to use, especially for a show like Smallville.

I wish GL was workable but sadly no.

Well, not every DC Hero has to be active at this point in time. Clark could just meet a fearless Air Force cadet named Hal Jordan. Maybe a father/daughter illusionist act, Zatara & Zatanna, to showcase Clark's vulnerability to magic. A geeky science-wiz dreaming of one day becoming a superhero, named Ted Kord.
