At this point, I've gamed for more than half my life -- 16 years out of 26 -- and I can't think of any reason why I wouldn't still be gaming when I get older. I will probably game in different ways, and focus on different elements of the game, but I don't tend to worry too much about popular conceptions of my interests (i.e., D&D is something everyone just plays in high school).

I met my wife at a game, I'm gaming with my daughter now and look forward to being able to game with my grandchildren. What better way to keep the mind alive than to work on imaginative fun like D&D17.5.

Think how much better we'll all be at roleplaying! We'll be old enough to not be embarassed by any storyline and have all manner of experience to draw on for adventures.

Gaming is excellent now and can only get better.

When I'm 70, I'll be so senile I won't be playing D&D anymore, I'd probably think it was real and living it ut in my head.

Me too! I'll be in Chicago for work (and fun!) from 7 to 14 June. I'm planning on going to Games Plus on 8 June. Within 24 hours of my arrival, I intend to visit the FLGS - I'm an uber-geek!
