So, what are *you* doing with the WLC?

I know, I know, the total lack of an index or even an itemized table of contents severly limits the product's usefulness as an in-game reference. I don't disagree -- I miss the "inline" stablocks of WLD, too. That said, if you're like me and you shelled out full price for the book, you'll find a way to use it. Me?

I'm using the WLC in my upcoming Northern Crown campaign as Londinium, the center of commerce in Europa and the primary point of departure for the New World. It may not get a lot of use, but what use it does see will be memorable. In the end, however, that may be for the best due to the aforementioned in-game reference issues.

When I get to know the book better, I'd like to use it a the centerpice of a campaign, but I'm not ready to do that right off the bat. As an idea mine though, t's great. So, what are you using the big book of near endless city for?

I haven't picked it up yet.

If the lack of an index or inline NPC stat blocks (i.e., statblocks presented in an encounter description) puts you off, you probably shouldn't. If you're cool with that, it's a great city sourcebook and idea mine (the Lamplighter's district is looking especially neat right now, but that's because I have a soft spot for gothic horror).

No, it's not that. I will get it but right now I'm running Eberron and my gaming dollar is going towards books I will use now.

Nothing. It's sitting on my shelf right now, after I've skimmed through it and read the introductory chapters. What I intend to do with it is plunder the beast for some locations within Ptolus.

Mine is sitting on my shelf as well... Right next to my Ptolus book, which is kind of sad. I bought the thing so as to run some stuff in it, or maybe mine it for ideas and locations, and then immediately caught an inspiration that took my campaign planning light-years away from urban adventuring... Oh well. I'll use it eventually, I guess. If not, I can still threaten to knock people out with it.
