Dammit, AZRogue picked mine in the first post of the thread, Warlord and Psionic Warrior are what I'd most like to play too (though for slightly different reasons, and I think I'd RP more "dashing leader" than "drill sergeant" ;) ). Tiefling for Warlord, for sure.

You, sir, have good taste. ;)

A Dragonborn multiclassed Warlord/Fighter/Cleric/Wizard who shall rule tha whole Points o' Light everywhere and in every campaign! :p

Let's just say that I'm anxiously waiting for the Dungeonborn Core Race in PHB 2 -- you know, the game *IS* called 'DUNGEONS & Dragons' ;)

Currently, in two games, I'm playing a Warblade specializing in White Raven maneuvers (buffing others) and a Dragon Shaman.
Effectively, I'm already playing a Warlord, just split over two classes.
I find that, as the person in our gaming group with the most rules-awareness, I like making characters that are highly effective at making everyone else more effective. It lets me be powerful without overshadowing anyone else. So, Warlord.

Well, I know I'll be DMing to start, since I'll be pulling together a new gaming group to play 4E. Some of the players will be totally new to D&D (like my fiancée, for example) but others have played before. However, since I'm the 4E evangelist, the DMing job is gonna be mine, I'm sure. Some haven't played since 1e (or still play 1e), and others have some experience with other editions. Many of them are folks I work with at the Ren Faire though, so the roleplaying should be top notch.

On the other hand, a few of them actually have DMed before, so maybe if I can intrigue them with my 4E game, they'll be willing to take a spin at DMing down the road. My brother, for example, is great at the storytelling side, but finds the mechanics of 3e kinda intimidating.

And I might try to get one of my buddies from my last gaming group to join us too. It would be nice to have another experienced hand, and last time I talked to him, he was still in the market for a game.

However, when I finally do get the chance to play, I'm eager to try out all the martial classes, like the fighter, ranger, rogue, and warlord. On the other hand, the new magic system has me intrigued with playing a spellcaster for maybe the first time ever.

There's so many options, I think my brain might explode.

I've always wanted to play a Paladin with rules that were simple, straightforward, unconstraining, and liberating.

I am sure 4E will provide a better paladin experience for me, whether that be CG or LE. Just let me play a character with a minimum of "RP god communication" and I'll be happy. Give me the mechanics for a good martial character, atheism required.

Eventually all of them. When I get my hands on the PHB I'll probably turn to Paladins first, then Rangers immediately after. Make sure they don't suck like they did in 3e.
