Lets see..."all of them." Is my best answer but I have been thinking about these...

Human Paladin of Kord w/wizard Training enough to throw lighting bolts. I want to play a Thor clone.

Tiefling Warlock w/Star or Infernal pacts. This just sounds fun.

Elf/Eladrin/Halfling Rogue, all the previews with rogues doing some really interesting things has really made this one sound fun

Dragonborn/Dwarf Warlord, the class just sounds all sorts of fun.

Multiclass Cleric/Fighter/Paladin/Ranger/Rogue/Warlock/Warlord/Wizard

Well they said "any levels, any classes just works". If that can be done effectively, I think I just might try it.

Otherwise, Fighter.

What I'm dying to play...

My very first character back in the late 70s was a in-the-shadows-crouching, secret-door-findin' kind a guy and I have always loved the agility and skullduggery angle, so I think I will start this latest iteration of the rules with an homage to him--perhaps a descendant of his has picked up the picks and is carrying on like dear ol' grand dad...

Of course, the Warlock seems like a good choice for a secondary PC, or even for a little cannibalization via multiclassing.

Gosh, this is a tough one. All of them is my first answer. Here are concepts that capture my interest (some of them are still being speculated on, of course):

Human: Paladin (Bahamut or Pelor), Warlord, Cleric (Pelor), Warlock (Star pact), Bard, Monk (Raven Queen)
Celestial: Paladin (Bahamut), Cleric (Bahamut), Monk (Pelor)
Dragonborn: Warlord
Dwarf: Fighter, Cleric (Moradin)
Eladrin: Wizard, Fighter/Wizard, Swordmage
Elf: Ranger, Warlock (Fey pact), Druid, Barbarian
Kender: Ranger, Rogue
Orc: Druid, Barbarian
Tiefling: Fighter, Warlock (Infernal pact), Paladin(!)

I really enjoyed the movie 300, and think it'd be fun to try to emulate that movie's Spartans. So I'm thinking a human Warlord, or Fighter, or Fighter/Warlord, or Warlord/Fighter.

Also, I'm pretty keenly interested in trying out the new magic rules.

My Tiefling paladin would still be good, probably a paladin of Bahamut or Pelor. He would be tortured and emo about his heritage.
