So who's ready for LOST?

The show goes a hell of a lot better if you watch it 6 episodes in a day instead of one a week. They're not great at episodic TV, but if you watch the episodes for the characters instead of the mystery, you should be good.

I totally agree. I liked Season 2 (and Ana Lucia) a lot more when I watched it all at once. I assume Season 3 would be the same.

I'm excited. I have enjoyed the show from the start. Is it 'great' TV, probably not, but I like it anyway. I just hope they actually answer some of the questions that are out there.

I am thinking they may have lost me.

First season, I was there every Wednesday and online and at the water cooler the next day discussing it.

Second and third season, hey I liked it but the breaks, too many. Seemed like a rerun every two weeks. Also too many characters, was distracting.

Now, it has been a very long break and moving it to another night, can't get ready for it.

Part of the reason they held it off, was so that they could run all the episodes straight, instead of pissing people off by having so many interuptions that it destroys the flow of the show.

Very excited, not frustrated at all.

Between Lost and Jericho returning, this half of the season is what I've really been waiting for.

Who's frustrated?
Me.

I'm a little excited, but not too much. I so want to like it, but found Season 3 to be such a wretched pile of drek (compared to a decent Season 2 and excellent Season 1) that I'm worried about what's coming down the pipe.

Stupid hope.

Because we all have so much time for that. :p

I am looking forward to it, but I've adopted this "cautiously optimistic" mindset. If it weren't for my girlfriend I probably wouldn't watch at all.

Looking forward to it with mild enthusiasm

I bailed on Season 3 after about episode 5-ish, because I felt that there was a whole lot of nothing in the show. I finally sat down and watched the DVDs, and yes, it is easier to tolerate in large groups. The ending to season 3 was enjoyable, and I know I didn't miss anything by skipping certain episodes.
