Copies of Spelljammer are starting to show up. Mike Long of Tribality is in receipt of the books and has tweeted some photos!
I'd pay money for that alternative ending on the DMs Guild...I wish Doomspace still had Athas in it. I know it would have made a lot of people upset, but we could have eventually gotten a cool adventure where you go into the Eye of Doom, return to Old Athas, and prevent the gods from destroying the sun while also struggling with the reality that maybe Athas ought to be destroyed.
I missed this. Can you point me to this info? They are bundled together, though I think you can get the book seperately at least. There is an Adventure for standard D&D...that has mass combat beats. And a board game, that covers those story beats. The Adventure has a quick and dirty mass combat resolution system, similar to past 5E Adventures, bit you can also use your characters in m the board game.
The Darkvision flavor feels off. Their culture is either in the astral sea where there is little or no darkness ... or else right next to the sun. I dont see even an opportunity to use it, nevermind evolve it to adapt. Plus they have light cantrips.
The way I see it, Elven Darkvision is a result of the amount of Positive (5E: Radiant) Energy that is infused within an Elf's body. So not only does it prevent Ghoul Touch from affecting an Elf directly, but it also causes their eyes to operate with Darkvision. The Drow follows the same suit, but years of living below surface in the Underdark caused their Darkvision to evolve into the Superior Darkvision/Light Sensitivity they have today. They had it when they migrated to the Astral, and, since they are immortal, they aren't going to loose it by natural selection.
It serves the same function as an appendix in humans.
Sounds like quite the stretch. Just give everyone darkvision and be done with it. It’s not like light is a relevant angle to fiddle with in 5E.The way I see it, Elven Darkvision is a result of the amount of Positive (5E: Radiant) Energy that is infused within an Elf's body. Doubtful, that's not how it works for Lizardfolk or other natural armor Rave options. It's 13 + Dex OR 10 + Dex + WisSpecific over general, it seems, the thri-kreen Monk gets 13 + Dex + Wis. Pretty nice.
We don't actually know that for certain. It's possible that these creature have an innate, stronger defiling racial ability for some reason. Arcane casters can still have a more traditional form of it.It appears that it is a psionic creature. And. The 5e version of defile has nothing to do with the arcane power source.
No, they can’t. None of the other natural armor races work that way, so kreen won’t either.A Thri-Kreen monk can technically get 24 AC as a Monk: 13(starting out)+Dex modifier+5 along with Wis Modifier+5
