Spoilers Angel 03/04

I think, at least now, that the Cordy baby thing is weak. It is too fast and we just had a baby last season.

Same here. Right now, I don't feel this adds anything to the show, but I guess it's too early to tell how it will turn out. I just thought, "ok, ya right, whatever" when Cordy said she was pregnant...

Well, they sort of have to do something, since Charisma Carpenter is pregnant and it's getting very difficult to hide. They've done a good job of it--overcoats, black shirts or shirts with patterns to hide it, camera angle--but if you watch the last few episodes, there are a few scenes where you can see that she's really showing. The stomach Conner touched at the end wasn't Charisma Carpenter's--or if it was, she's some kinda mutant. She was something like seven months pregnant when they shot this episode...

Mouse,

True that. In any case I fear vampire slayers more after seeing Faith fight. Anyone that can (in D&D terms) have weapon focus and weapon specialization with a dumbell, not someone you want to mess with.

I thought when the beast died there was supposed to be some massive destruction because of the release of all the energy.

I did not think of Angel faking the evil thing, but that is not only a good guess, but would make a great twist. The only reason I see it not working is because Cordy did the spell and her goal was not to bring him back. This too can be explained if it is the evil superfast growing baby in her belly that sometimes controls her mind, allowing her to live a double life of Heroine and villain. But I just gave myself a headache with all the what ifs.

The Father kills the son thing was explained as a false prophecy created by that time deamon to trick Angel ans the others into thinking Angel would kill his son.

Completely forgot about the false prophecy thing. Good point. I go back to my "She's a minion/IS the First" theory.

Actually, another thing that could support Angel being Angel is the fact that when Loren read him he said it was Angel. They never did explain how he was wrong (though that could have been the entire purpose of Cordy's spell)

[gym-geek]It's a barbell. Dumbells are the small ones you hold in one hand.[/gym-geek]

Well, she did pick it up with one hand. :)

And I had forgotten Charisma was pregnant. I guess they had to write that in somehow, but still... Connor's baby, still doesn't sit right with me.

does anyone know if they will show an encore of this before next wednesday?

*wtf! stoopid programming, I know I put in the right channel, time and date ... what did I get? some wierd @ss mentoring program special*

grrrrrrrrrr ...

I have no idea what went wrong, unless I'm suddenly dyslexic at 30 ...

That was a good scene but I liked the drop cloth with the "Welcome Home Faith!" On it. Very sway.

I thought that was the best part. Wes and Faith discussing how to find Angel...

"We'll do it the old-fashioned way. Follow the clues."

"Such as?"

"A trail of bodies, may be a ..."

WELCOME HOME, FAITH!

"... maybe a carpet fibre..."

Well one idiot child plot device thingy deserves another.

In case you're wondering yes I've hated Connor ever since he came back from the hell dimension.
