SPOILERS- More questions for Song of Ice & Fire readers

That sounds cool. Well, now that I have finished all three books I note that nothing came out as I thought it would. I bet all the speculation we do will prove amusingly off base.

Catelyn though, man, is she going to some kind of vengeful Frankenstien's monster or what?

The book ended great, I love to watch Jon progress. He is one of my favorite characters. I can't wait to see how Stannis deals with that little issue.

Tyrion, the little guy strikes back. Tywin deserved to go that way. I tried to put an alignment to him (Tywin) and was torn between LE and NE. At first I thought LE but then I realized he is more self centered than that perhaps. He would have let Tyrion die and he seems to have not been as "family loyal" as he was loyal to seeing his name of Lanister carry on strongly so he may have been NE.
In the end I say "yeah Tyrion"!

Jaime appears to be going through some sort of moral crisis that will be interesting.

Cercei should be next on the "hit list" in my book. I hope that Catelyn gets to see her offed since she will only hear about Tywin.
Maybe Jaime will end up killing Cercei. Love and hate are close together as an emotion.

Dany: when she finally arrives in Westros it will be in such disorder her take over should be fairly simple. Then she has to side with Malisandra, Jon, and probably Bran or Rickon to fight the great evil that is coming.
I am wondering if somehow Tyrion and Arya end up coming back with Dany.

Sandor: For some reason I think he is not dead. He is a great evil guy that I hope to see again. I think his brother lives too and the two will end up in a epic fight against one another.

Well, some of my speculating that will probably be all wrong.

Dany: when she finally arrives in Westros it will be in such disorder her take over should be fairly simple.... I am wondering if somehow Tyrion and Arya end up coming back with Dany.

Or if all the big players simply play musical continents. ;-)

1) Bronn and that Knight in the Vale.

2) Blackwater- feel the burn, baby!

3) Ygritte

4) Davos vs. Malisandre

5) The three eyed crow Bran is seeking is the
undead ranger who saved Sam. Once he has learned the secrets of the Greenseers, he will go south, and wash the twins away with a massive flood.

The three heads of the Dragon are Daenrys (duh) John Snow, and Melisandre.

John Snow is the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar

Arya will become a deadly assassin, all of those in her prayers will have dramatically shortened life spans.

Petyr becomes more of a major player, we find he has influenced most of the events through the book, he may be helping Daenrys.

Cersei refuses to marry, the allience falls apart, Dorne, Highgarden, and possibly the Vale march against the Lannisters.

No body else dies *hey, you need one pie in the sky one*

1) Jaime vs Brienne. Very Nicely done fight, also possibly the last time we'll see or hear about the Kingslayer in a real fight

2) hmm. Kings Landing. Very intense, major turning point, and it was nice to see so many plot hooks come together like that at last.

3) The Beggar King gets his Golden Crown. Because Khal Drogo was the man, Viserys was begging for it, and Drogo did everything with such style . Drogo was so The Man. In the movie, Drogo would be played by The Rock. All they would need then was a part for William H Macy, but now im getting off topic. . . .

4) Hmmm this is a tough one, Ned vs Cersei was very good, he didn’t even give in to her attempts to "charm" him . . . but it wasn’t very long lived. Tyrion against his sister and then father was also very good, but for some reason i never cared for Tyrion that much. He such a whiney bitter little creature. He's a tragic figure, sure, and very adds a lot of humor to the story with his sarcasm and wit, and no one could ever say his situation was his fault, but i do wonder if he will have much of an influence on the future of the story.

5) Dany is going to sweep across the land like a Tsunami, like a vengeful dragon, but by this time The Others will be a major presence, and she will have to take her place in the great war against the darkness as was prophesized. The Red Witch will realize that Stannis is just another schmuck who only has a magic sword (which does not burn) because she gave it to him and drop him like a bad habit, only to be killed offhand when she tries to join Dany, who has every right to hate Witches. Because Drogo was The Man and their son would have been even more The Man had it not been for the first betrayal.

The Three Eyed Crow is Benjan Stark for goodness sake. Come on, he's a crow (Night's watch) who, like Bran, had to open his third eye to survive. He may or may not be Coldhands. Bran will learn to fly, but i don’t have any idea what that means. Maybe a Red Priest can heal his back too.

The Freys will fall. Hard.

Arya will train to become a terrifying assasin, who knows what she will do once the rest of those names on her list disappear; maybe Martin will just kill her in some very disappointing way. Like she'll fall over while bathing one day, hit her head on a rock and drown. Yeah, that sounds like something Martin would do.

Rickon is not important. He may go insaine or turn into a wolf or something, but he will only then be important because someone (probably a Stark) will have to kill him.

Sansa i dont have any guesses about. Poor Sansa, im so in love with her, i can only say i really hope she finds her True Knight. Brienne is the closest thing to a True Knight we have seen, and Brienne is searching for her, but somehow i don’t think Brienne will take her maidenhead.

John is a hero, but so was Robb. I don’t buy the idea that he is Rheagar and Lyanna's child. When did Lyanna have time to have a bastard? That kind of thing is tough to keep hidden, especially for a woman of such importance as Lyanna. It will be nice to find out once and for all who his parents are though, as i hope we will someday.

Jamie is starting to become a very interesting character, much less 2 dimensional than i though he would be at first, and his relationship with Brienne and the Kingsguard is very entertaining, good job Mr. Martin. :D Still, the Lanisters will be wiped out of existence when Dany rides over them with her dragons. She knows about their betrayal, especially the Kingslayer. That is only if Tyrion doesn’t kill him. Or he doesn’t slip off his horse one day and break his neck or get struck by lightning or suffer some other disappointing death.

The Hound will be back, but will we ever see Gendry again? He and Arya seemed tight, and Robert said it was past time his blood and Ned's were joined, but who knows what may happen or if we will ever see him again.

6) Assuming i wasn’t just some peasant stuck in his Lord's field, and i had some knowledge of what was going on in Westros, i would find my way to Danny's side and stay there. Maybe one day i could be a part of her Queensguard, and i would never be false with her. I’m even more in love with Daenerys that Sansa, and she is a true and worthy Queen, and of course it would be nice to be on the winning side.

Will you guys stop talking about these damn books. Every time I read these threads, I want to pick up the series and reread it. I originally bought the books thinking it was a trilogy. I hate starting a series before it is finished. Roger Zelazney and his Amber series taught me to disdain waiting a year or two in between books.

This is an awesome series, I have only read once. I don't think I will have the strength to not read the next book, but darn it, I will only be more frustrated after reading it.

So true. I started reading "The Ruins of Ambrai" by Melanie Rawn about 8 years ago. EIGHT! I read the 2nd book of the series immidiately after the first...I've been waiting on book 3 (Captal's Tower) since like 1997.

Worse, I checked on her website a little while back, and dug around the forums (which she's gracious enough to actually participate in!) only to find out...

SHE HASN'T EVEN STARTED WRITING IT YET!!!!!!!!1

That is just Evil. There should be a law against that. With all of the stupid codes and laws written, this one might not seemed that far fetched. We could attach it to a mental health bill.

You are talking about The Captal's Tower (Exiles, Book 3).

Looks like November 2004.

More useless speculation

More useless speculation......

We are almost all on agreement that Tyrion will join Dany's army. I think Tyrion will be Dany's husband. Now that witch said to Dany that no MAN would ever have her again or something to that affect. Well Tyrion has never been accused of being a man, always refered to as the DWARF.

I don't remeber the exact quotes so I may just be in my own liitle fantasy world here.
