Well, if we don't get something that big I would at least like a sourcebook. I am running a Star Wars adventure right now that I started right before this game came out. It is set about 1000 years before the Rise of the Empire. It would be great to have some source material for it....Welverin said:Not good enough! I demand a full sized hardcover sourcebook, FRCS style!

Too true. I would take a 144 page sourcebook with an overview of some key plantetary systems, a few new classes like Jedi Sentinel (!!), the basic timeline and major NPC's, vehicles and the like statted out. Throw in some more about the Mandelorians, Jedi, Sith and Republic along with the major players of that period and I think we are all set.Welverin said:When I say FRCS style I don't mean size, but the design and quality of course. Open up with relevant game rule information for the setting and spend most of the space on detailing the setting. Of course the longer the better, but I don?t need a 320 page book with a 4 pint font to be happy.
If I wasn't such a stickler for canon I would feel much better about running something in the "current" Star Wars universe. But the movies and novels (which I know aren't canon) get in the way, for me. Actually, I'm not too fond of the NJO anyway. I'd much rather play in the Old Republic Era. You know - the time when Sith wasn't such a four letter word.Welverin said:What I do not want is another Rebellion Era or NJO style sourcebook that is little more than a detail timeline recounting what happen the books/novels/games, if I want to know what happened in them I?ll read or play them as appropriate.
Seriously. I would love to find a few more Star Wars players. I have three right now but only one really gets what I am trying to do.Welverin said:A pox on you for living in Connecticut!
