Stargate is a go for Season 8

Despite the fact that the currect season was touted as the last, it appears that we SG fans have another season to look forward to. I, for one, am thankful because this show has given me a lot of enjoyment. Nearly every episode has not failed to capture my interest and make me think. Something, sadly, which its "competition" Enterprise just has not been able to pull off.

Here's the SG-1 scoop:

No need for me to bash Enterprise to say that I, too, have enjoyed SG-1. It is, perhaps, my personal favorite Sci-Fi show...ever... :)

Tapping rocks on toast... :D

I knew I shouldn't have included that Enterprise remark. :p I'm still a fan of that show but SG-1 just beats it hands down.

Yeah watched tonight's ep. I can see why they want to go on. :) Micheal Shanks is great and Richard Dean Anderson might yet surpass his old show in terms of seasons. :) (Remind me how many season was Macgyver on?)

I happen to agree, but I wanted to be sure your SG-1 thread stayed focused on SG-1 and didn't become a compare and contrast debate. I think we have enough of those. :)

Cool. Well since it's going 8 I think it's only fair that SG-1 have a Macgyver crossover. ;) You know Jack and Mack being stuck somehow fighting Goalds and Jaffa...and only have one zat, a roll of duck tape, some electrical wire and a Nequada generater between them. Whadda think?

But Macgyver would be able to make the most powerful weapon in the universe with those supplies!!! If you want to make it fair you should only give them some tape, wire and chewing gum.. with that combo he should be able to make a staff or zat :D:D:D

Mm good point. Btw I was reading over at www.tvtome.com site for Macgyver. Apparently they are doing a Smallville-esque type deal with a young Mac (Mac's nephew of all things) the Phoenix foundation AND do it more Alias-like. (Hope that means we'll at least see the most famous arch villian of the Macgyver series, Murdoc. I LOVED Murdoc. :) )
