Hi there. I'm kind of new to this forum, but i hope u guys can help me out. I'm starting a new campaign with a friend of mine and i'll be playing a rouge. I'm doing a Rogue 1/Barbarian 2 (starting lvl 3) build (i know ppl say it's not the greates build but i still like it ^^) and plan to move around the battlefield to deal sneak atack damage while flanking. My Question is: is mobility (and therefore Spring attack) worth it? since i'll be having a good deal of ranks spent on tumble i'm having second thoughts about mobility. If anyone can help me, that'd be awesome

One last thing; about race, I'm playing a dwarf with the Quick trait to help his mobility.
Advice on Flaws would be appreciated too.

Welcome to the boards.

I have never regretted having Spring Attack as a feat. Even without being a prerequisite, Mobility is still a good (and useful) feat in its own right - particularly for the style of character you are considering.

Tumble is useful, but that usefulness diminishes because of the nature of the surface you are tumbling over and the number of enemies you might need to bypass increasing the DC of the skill check, and the requirement to move at half-speed (without taking the penalty, of course, for moving at full speed).

If you decide to go with mobility and/or spring attack, the feats taht add damage to charges, like Powerful Charge, are good investments.

It depends on your role. As a barbarian, are the other party members counting on you to melee and block opponents? Then spring attack is a waste of time. Or is another player filling the tank role, and your job is more of a flanker/blitzer? If so, then spring attack is a good idea.

In my somewhat limited experience, if you're not interested in Spring Attack, Skill Focus(Tumble) is likely better than Mobility. You'll often completely negate the attack (and bypass problems like being tripped).
