di Senzio's Tournament could finish up any day now. That'll free up a couple more characters, including my Octavio who will either be a second or third level Fighter/Rogue.

Assuming I get Ducane approved and the treasure division is done in time, I'd be interested in having him participate in this.

He's Fighter 4 / Psychic Warrior 2 / War Mind 1 at the moment (after I get him approved). If there's too many adventurers of that level, Almayce is my first priority to get into an adventure though.

I'm thinking that Almayce might even join the level 5/6 group--his HP will be more on par with theirs (after the Con item he'll still have fewer, but at least he'll be safer from instagibs. I think he'll no longer be 'dead whether on a save or not' now in the higher adventure, but he'll still be 'dead on a failed Ref save') plus as a Mystic Theurge, his spells are not actually higher level than those of that group would usually have, so he isn't even too much of an unfair advantage. Plus they don't have so many members around.

If that happened, Ducane could join the level 7/8 group forming up.

I wouldn't mind that.

Ducane has sucky AC and no magical weapon though (only enough money for Adamantine), so he's not that badass either. And unlike Almayce, he's actually trying to get to the front lines. He can compensate with psychic warrior powers a little though.

Well, the question could be 'which could survive being in a party of their own level'. As long as Ducane has good Con, he should be fine (PsyWar buffs are great and can probably help). Honestly, I'm constantly surprised that Almayce only died once so far with that Con--it's more a measure of how many enemies have AoE spells, since he is good at making himself seem like not the most threatening target so he doesn't get attacked if not (though of course, Hulgyr's incredible attacks, etc are also good at helping with that task!)

If Zack gets approved in time, he'll be joining the same group as Ducane. Once approved, he'll be a Fighter 5/Barbarian 2.

Opale is (almost) approved for level 7 and will gadly come into that Mega Adventure, except if Patlin have something to continue his quest and is not related to this adventure. But teh idea of Opale and Rinaldo working on a common goal draw my interrest.
