True, however, its beginning to bug me enough to consider cancelling my sub.
Hmmn might recommend we dump Amazon and Disney+ after Ahsoka.
As long as we watch maybe q movie a month on Amazon it's worth it. Otherwise....

They don't have me quite as throughly as Disney+ (Bluey) and Netflix (Gabby's Dollhouse), but Rings of Power alone means that I would stick with them even for now if free shipping didn't pay for itself.True, however, its beginning to bug me enough to consider cancelling my sub.
ROP is a big sticking point for me. I dont care about LotR, and like most folks, didnt finish the series. Piles of money with a flame thrower taken to it.They don't have me quite as throughly as Disney+ (Bluey) and Netflix (Gabby's Dollhouse), but Rings of Power alone means that I would stick with them even for now if free shipping didn't pay for itself.
I mean, 37 million+ stuck it out to the end (37% finished it...of 100 million), which means that it is bigger than anything on broadcast TV (somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 NCIS's). Money wise very likely to pay off for Amazon in the short and long term, once the clockbait noise dies down.ROP is a big sticking point for me. We just pulled the plug on Disney+. Secret Invasion ain't great, I didn't watch the Star Wars cartoons so Ashoka doesn't do anything for me, and I'll be able to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 3 before the sub runs out.
We turned on Hulu for the first time for Justified and Only Murders in the Building and Dropout, and both are going great. Will reconsider once What We Do in the Shadows and the new Justified series wrap for the season.
Im sure it will pan out, but im super annoyed that money wasn't used on different content (and a much better interface).I mean, 37 million+ stuck it out to the end (37% finished it...of 100 million), which means that it is bigger than anything on broadcast TV (somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 NCIS's). The Prime interface is a sin against God and humanity. But I can't see what could be a better use of their money than making the most viewed non-Netflix show of the year. Pleasing 20% of a 200 million+ audience is a tough thing to achieve.Im sure it will pan out, but im super annoyed that money wasn't used on different content (and a much better interface).
It reminds me of someone who complained the series Dexter should stop with him trying to find a place as a normal person in the world and just get back to killing the bad guys. I'm like, "Him trying to live a normal life is built right into the DNA of the show."All those nominations, and Max is giving into the fanboys that want more battles with the fungus zombies.....that's not going to get most people to watch. People want stories about people.
