Stupid Question: why isnt silence an Assassin spell?

It always bothered me that silence is not on the Assassins spell list (maybe it or a variant is in a non-core book, i havent looked around). The have many good abilites to enhcance their tade and silence would be perfect it conjunction with invisibility. What do you think? Would a house rule with silence being an Assassin spell be overkill (im thinking a lv 3 spell)?

Ebon Eyes is a level 1 spell even for 9-level casters, and it's better. Darkvision should be 1, IMO. And yeah, definitely in favor of adding them to the spell list.

What it needs is something similar to the warlocks least invocation "devils sight" can see in darkness of ANY kind (even that produced by deeper darkness).Maybe ebon eyes does something similar... EDIT: i looked it up ebon eyes does just this...

Well, so tell me why isn't Spider Climb, Knock, Darkvision BARD spells..!

And they put Cure xxx Wounds, Summon monster XX and other spells in the bard list that are completely out of place instead.
