Succubus Paladin - Yes or No

Just for grins (and to see what the guru, Hyper, had to say), here's a question.

Can a Lawful Good Succubus become a Paladin?

Yes, but only for a deity that would except the demon's reformation and repentance. Depending on the game world that might cut down on the opptions and effectively render the answer "no."

Fair enough. But, taking out DM specific campaign world rulings..

By the RAW.. Succubus Paladin: Yes or no?

By the rules, if the succubus is LG, then yes, I'd say so. I might actually do something like this in my Eberron campaign, now that you mention it. Yoink!

Absolutely! It's a pity how they count as Lawful, Good, Chaotic and Evil for the purposes of spells, and when they detect Evil they'll light up like a becon... When they detect good, they'll light up, too. Funny. Very cool concept, and I know of nothign in the RAW that prevents it.

By the RAW, if you can get the Succubus to a Lawful Good alignment, then yes the Succubus can become a Paladin.

The problem is that Succubus alignment is listed as "Always chaotic evil". So, if you find a way to get past "always," then you are fine according to RAW.

I would think it would be ok. But if I ran the game she would lose her Energy Drain attack and Summon Demon special ability.

As already mentioned, a succubus is "Always chaotic evil", so it's not possible.
One Helm of Opposite Alignment can solve the "always Chaotic Evil" problem.
And turn the answer to yes. Without such a thing I agree it is not possible.
