Sunless Citadel 3.5e Campaign Recruiting!

There ya go. The background ends with Jerek signing on to guard the merchant you mentioned in the intro, and befriending the rest of the PCs so we're not strangers. But Jerek's quick travels before that time mean that he doesn't really know what's going on in the area politically or anything (which works out since I don't either).

The names of kingdoms and people in the background can of course be changed to match your world.

Looking forward to getting started!

Jair is a personable druid of Mielikki who signed up as an extra spear on the merchant wagon with his wolfhound Terrek. He makes friends easily with the other guards and asks if they have heard anything about goblins who are reported to have magical heal-all fruit. Such magical plant effects are something Jair is interested in seeing if they are real or not and what the basis for the magic is.

Jair will also ask if any of the other guards knows anybody who speaks goblin *kough* Heirmund Vottar *kough* who could translate with these goblins if needed.

Okay, it looks like we're almost ready to go!

JimAde, your char looks fine as is.

Two things left to clear up that I can see, and then we'll be ready to go.

Voadam, note that without Handle Animal, it can be difficult to train your companion (which I assume is a Riding Dog after all? It's not listed on your sheet.) to do specific things. The way your char is designed, your companion knows one (and only one) trick from the list under Handle Animal. If you take ranks in the skill though, I will allow your companion to start the game knowing one more trick per rank you select (up to its current maximum, of course.) --You can train the companion over time during the game as normal though afterwards, of course, spending the time and taking the chance on the rolls as normal. I will however need you to specify what tricks he knows. Now, the Riding Dog is better than the Wolf in a lot of ways, and it is arguable that as a natural animal (and especially without Handle Animal skill!) it shouldn't be 'trained for battle'--but on thinking about it, I'll give your wolfhound trip attacks. I do recommend Handle Animal skill ranks though.

And Sorrow's char's spells.

We might even be able to start tomorrow at this rate--but don't count on it. I'm working on the final touches of the introduction, plus some ooc rules and stuff that I might not even detail initially, since while I have rather a lot of xp at GMing, you all probably know more about PbP than I do! : )

If not tomorrow though, then assuming the chars are ready to go, I will probably start it Sunday. I'll let you know if that changes.

Schweeet! I've seen a lot of posts about Sunless Citadel, but fortunately haven't read them. I don't own the adventure or anything either, so I'm as clueless as I should be. :D

So... we have....

Human Monk
Human Sorcerer
Human Druid
Earth Genasi Fighter
(What I meant to say was) Gnome Illusionist (sheesh, I don't pay attention well!)
and a Human Rogue

and we are all.... somewhere in the general vicinity of Oakhurst, either guarding a caravan or not.

I am SOOOO ready to do this. :]
