[Survivor] 3/4/04 - Weak Sauce! (Spoilers, if you can them that)

*sigh*

No immunity challenge and no vote tonight. I feel cheated. That was some weak sauce, man. Next week's had better be damn good to make up for this.

I'm looking forward to "normal" Survivor so we can get some people who actually want to PLAY THE GAME. Forget this All Stars nonsense. 6 weeks, 2 quitters. Not good.

While I agree that two quiters have make the game a bit less enjoyable, they both left for valid reasons. I don't think Jenna should have gone in the first place and what happened to Sue was gross. Heck, what was it, a few days after Jenna quit - her mom died. Sheesh. That gave me the chills.

I wonder if Dave Letterman will have Sue on his show next week. I thought it was funny this week when the naked guy's segment got cut short by Dave goofing around and Dave came back to his desk he said "he's mad about it."

Yeah, that was a bit creepy but I thought it was a bad judgement call for her to on the show at all. If my mom had cancer and was dying, there is NO way I'd ever leave for an extended period of time - especially for a game show.

As for Sue, well I'm not in her shoes so I don't know what she was going through but it was still pretty weak, IMO. That may sound insensitive but that small brush with Hatch's little survivor didn't seem like that big a deal plus she didn't handle it well at all. You can't just go and cut yourself off from the world when something is bothering you - it'll just drive you crazier and crazier.

Do you think Sue orchestrated the situation? During the challenge, when her teammates were shouting for her to cross over to the platform, she specifically said "No, I want to go this way." And "this way" had Richard Hatch coming across.

And she started crossing before Hatch made it to the platform. She actually had to put her arms around him to get on the beam.

Then she talked to Rupert that she was going to sue for 10million dollars.

"Violated"? Please. She knew he was naked. She saw him coming. Instead of taking a different, and perfectly accessable, direction, she chose to bump into him. Hell, he's even gay. It's not like some random man on the street stripped and humped her leg.

That was my initial reaction when I watched last week's episode. It looked to me like Sue was waiting for Richard. So I don't really understand her reaction this week...

In any case, this was a very boring episode. This isn't the best Survivor, for sure.

I wonder if she could do that. After all, the incident occured on Panamanian soil, IIRC, so I would doubt that the American courts have jurisdiction.

I hope Richard does get sued. He had no right to do what he did, he had no right to put people in the situation he did. That and I just found him so annoying. He may be comfortabble being nude, but that does not mean the others have to put up with it. I personally would have tried to beat the crap out of him, getting kicked out would be worth it.

Actually, they do. It, just like everything else is part of the game. It's just a different kind of rude.
