That sounds like it correlates well with the massive spoiler text I've read on the movie. Good deal!
Yep, its another thing confirming all of those spy reports from last year. I was actually curious how much of the Clone War they would attempt to sum up in the usual three paragraphs(especially introduction Grevious), but that's nice and simple and works perfectly.

I have strong worries about Grevious. I have seen a few bits of the clone wars cartoon and that type of combat movement could easily look ridiculous and be a repeat of episode 2’s Yoda fight. Maybe it was unique to my theater, but an action sequence should NOT have an audience laughing at it as Yoda’s did!

I saw Ep II in theaters more than once and the Yoda scene never got a laugh. There was at least one 'hell yes!' when he did the western style brandishing of the lightsaber, but the rest was awed silence.

As for Grevious, he can sure do some crazy things, but I have feeling its not going to look anything like the Yoda fight. Though I do seem to remember a comment about
Grevious walking on a wall
...but I don't think it was ever confirmed.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Yoda/Dooku fight in ep II. On one hand, Yoda is supposed to be the most powerful Jedi at that time and he proves it.

On the other hand, if he can hop around like that WHY DOES HE WALK AROUND LIKE AN OLD MAN WITH A CANE?? I mean HOBBLES in, drops the cane, pulls the saber and opens a can of whupass on Dooku. After Dooku flees, he picks up the can and HOBBLES over to Anakin and Obi-Wan. Doesn't make any sense to me.

That's a common convention in kung-fu movies; the old man who looks old and feeble but can kick everyone else's ass any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

For Frank, nobody laughed at my theatre. At least, not in a "hey, that's hilarious" kinda way, although there were a lot of cheers and stuff as in "Yo, that r0xx0rs!" kinda way.

I love seeing a movie like that on openning day with a crowd full of enthusiasts. I didn't even notice the movie's weaknesses until I saw it again later.

One thing I didn't like about the Yoda/Dooku fight:

When Dook crumbles part of the ceiling over Anakin and Obi-Wan, why would Yoda hold up the rocks when it'd be much easier to just pull the two Jedi out of the way?

And of course, this fight comes right after the most underwhelming fight this side of checkers: Anakin/Dooku. Dook slices up Anakin's hand and there isn't even a swell up in the mucis. Compare that to the Vader/Luke fight in ESB, specially the part where the Skywalkers lose their hands. What a 'meh'!

That being said, I indeed look forward to Ep III. The crawling text looks pretty neat.

Cause in the RPG you get a dark side point for using move object or TK on a living being. Yoda was playing by the rules :p

Because he is an old man with a cane.

Two things easily explain why he doesn't just go floating around all the time. One, using the force is draining and using it for minor and/or mundane purposes isn't worth the trouble. Two, the pricnciple of only using the force when necessary. Those are two easy explanations, whether you choose to believe them, or something else or to continue on being annoyed is up to you.
