I left Twitter (I'll never call it "X" no matter how much Musk wants people to) during the election thanks to Musk's election interference play (the million dollar lottery thing). That place had been getting measurably worse ever since he took over and that was just the final straw for me. I've seen a bunch of other creators make the transition over the past year or so, but especially in the last few weeks. Bsky continues to be nice. Also, ENWorld's instance at Mastodon is pretty awesome. Basically, Twitter sucks now and there are better options available.

Yeah, there are lists of the categorically awful people and one of the things you can do with lists on Bluesky is just click on the list and automatically block everyone on them. So the awful folks are finding themselves unable to cause the same kind of problems they do over on Twitter and Facebook.

And in addition to RPG folks making a mass exodus to Bluesky, the same thing is happening with comic book creators, videogame folks and stand-up comedians. So some of the best reasons to be on social media are all active on the same site again, which is nice.

Two authors and an actor that I follow, elsewhere, have decamped to BlueSky from Twitter. I've never had a Twitter account, but I do now have one on BlueSky.

I quit Twitter two years ago when Elon was just getting started and honestly I honestly I am not sure I am going to want to join another site. I suppose the one thing that may get me is that scrolling Facebook is a complete dumpster fire and at least with BlueSky or something it would be people I chose to follow making questionable comments.

I was never good at Twitter though. I would not expect BlueSky to be any different in that respect. 11 years, 50,000 tweets, only 3-400 followers.
