Taking 10 on Knowledge checks... with more questions :D

First Post
I am running a Dread Necro/Archivist in the Savage Tide campaign that Blarg runs. He is planning on taking the Knowledge Devotion (Domain feat from Complete Champion) feat next level. He has ranks in all knowledge skills associated with monsters so can theoretically get a bonus vs. anything :D

Question is, are there any Feats/PrCs, etc that allow a character to take 10 on Knowledge checks?

Cheers,
E

Well, you don't need one to take 10 when you're not rushed or threatened. But I guess if you're facing down an unknown monster ... I really can't think of anything, other than a whole passel of Rogue levels.

theirs a prc in complete adventurer at first level that gets the rogue ability to take 10 on a bunch of skills. i forget the name, but theirs a picture of a guy doing a handstand on a tree stump.

Awesome, The Exemplar. Won't be able to get into it til lvl 10 but its definately worth aiming for. Thanks for that Moon-Lancer.

Okies got a secondary question now :) What are different ways for a Dread Necro/Archivist to increase all his knowledge checks? I am thinking of picking up the Knowledge domain with the feat that allows divine casters to take a domain (whats it called again? No books with me here). I have also taken the UA "Absent minded" trait, +1 to knowledge checks, -2 to spot and listen. What are other ways for me to increase my knowledge skills across the board?

Skill Mastery a Rogue class option, then the Savvy Rogue feat from Complete Scoundrel allows the character to "take 12" on 3 + Int # of skills.

Taking that many levels in rogue won't help me, hence taking Exemplar at 11th level for Skill Mastery. What are the prereqs for Savvy Rogue?

Cheers,
E

If you allow Monte Cooks Arcana Evolved in your game, you want to cross-class with the Akashic. They get to add DOUBLE their intelligence bonus to all knowledge skills.
