Always good to see new monsters. 5e monsters were a little bland out of the gate, so it's nice to see some spicy ones.

The only spellcasters in the PDF are NPCs at the end, but they all cast spells in the 2014 style.

Well ... there are certainly a handful of folks that have issues (including 1 person who is extremely vocal and persistent) but overall playtest packet #3 is getting a positive response there

I wonder know if removing the ''blank'' lines in the monsters blocks (such as language and senses) would be better to reduce the size of the block. If a they none, just remove that line.

I'd also wish they'd go with built-in spells attacks instead of having to reference the spells in another book.

In terms of design, it's a wonderful job. The monsters finally have features to be more than stand-and-fight bags of hit points. Very pleased.
