I don't know who the art director was (since Wotc refuses to list creator credits in this version to protect them from angry mobs), but the aerial marauder PrC illustration is just way over the top. Why do we need a full page illustration of a flying swine with blonde pigtails and wearing a Norse helmet throwing a spear at a warforged behemoth? I mean Wayne Reynolds is talented, but even this is too much.

Well, not as much as the bovine dominatrix was, but still...

Anyone else look through the Monster Manuals yet? They made everything sexier. Check out the [censored] on the invisible stalker, for example.

And rangers are totally broken. "Tap to get +20 to Att and Dmg."?

I've only gotten through the fifteen tome, so I'm not to the I's yet.

The one thing I don't like about 4e?

That would be the ads for 5e on the last page of every book.

I read in a developer's interview that Re-unearthed Arcana will include a variant rule replacing dice rolls with a Collectible Card Game. I'm really looking forward to that one.

What I like is that they eliminated miniatures - oh, it is still 100% tactically based, but they are no longer miniature - they are ACTUAL FULL SIZE! That's right, now we can move around plastic pieces that are exactly as large as they would be in real life. And WOW - those Ancient Dragon minis will really get your player's blood boiling!

Now instead of having to convert an inch into 5 feet, we can just use a tape measure for an actual five feet.

Brilliant solution to satisfy both the tactical game fanatics AND those who thought there was too much emphasis on miniatures!
