Star Wars The Bad Batch - SPOILERS

I'm guessing genocide and destruction of the cloning facilities, since the Empire has clearly lost all interest in large-scale cloning, and they'll take the Kaminoan scientists to start working on that whole Emperor cloning/life-extension doodad they used as an excuse to bring him back in Rise of Skywalker.

Yep that's what I think. If they're lucky they'll dodge genocide.

In the now non-canon stories, it was destroyed. And since they like to bring bits of former canon back with the animated series, that will probably be done with the destruction of Kamino.

To go along with the final episode tomorrow, it has been officially announced that this is a season finale and not series finale, as the show has been renewed for season two next year.
Looks like the 2 episode finale starts this week. I wondering how long each episode is since they split it in two.

This one was about standard length - 27 minutes including all credits.

I liked the way they handled Crosshair. He's more effective as an antagonist if it's of his own volition.

Things went down pretty much as expected as far as Kamino's concerned. I wonder if they'll try to track down / rescue Nala Se at some point next season.

A good season finale. I came into this series with no real investment in these characters, but it's left me wanting more. One warning: This is not an episode for claustrophobes.

Like the Clone Wars finale, this one pulls no punches in making the destruction wrought by the Empire feel both large-scale and personal. The sense of pressure and confinement as the city sinks beneath the waves mixed with the sense of sadness as the clones, especially Omega, see their home destroyed is a powerful combination.

Again, I like the way they've handled Crosshair in the finale. He's not controlled or indoctrinated, he just has a different viewpoint than the others. It makes him both tragic and villainous, but it's welcome to see that diversity of perspectives in the clones.

I hope he has a plan, otherwise it's a bit dumb to not accept a lift off a tiny foodless platform on a decimated water world!
yeah. Seemed bone headed. The guys he worked sent someone to spy on him, blew up the base he was on. You'd think he'd get the message that there is no place for him inside the empire.

And for a guy who's killed noncombatants, there's not really a path back except death. Same reason Kylo had to die.

Well, we don't se kaminoan corpses or dead clone-embryos bobbing up to the surface!

I think maybe he's viewing it as a test of the Empire and his own convictions. If they bother to send someone to pick him up when he calls, then they still value him. And if they don't, it doesn't matter that he's doomed, because it means there's no place for him anyway.
