In whispered tones: "Hrm, bad timing. I didn't come loaded for a fight, but looks like that's what we're in for. Sounds like nine of them in addition to the captive. I'm sure we can take the first one without trouble, but I'm worried about the five in the room with the captive, and the three further on."

"I can command the first one to surrender - then the rest of you have to jump him and keep him quiet. After that, it's basically just 'kick in the door' and hope we stop them before they get to the prisoner. Anybody have any other ideas?"

"I'd say that plan would work...and after we have the first I'm almost positive we can take the first two or three without getting hurt too badly... if we do... we can fall back and regroup right????"

Arin steps up and stands between them and the door, giving her best smile "I may just have a way in that would be slightly easier..." She bats her eyes and blushes, giggling charmingly.

"Arin, I hate to break it to you, but I do have to point out that comely females rarely knock on the sewer-side entrance to a secret hideout where a kidnapping victim is being held. While in other cases I'm certain that others might succumb to your wiles, I have a sneaking suspicion that the guard would be a bit more suspicious. That is, unless you posess other means to sway his opinion..."

The rats speak.

"The four at meal and guarding the room with the shiny stone door are Those Who Are Not."

"The Six within the room are humans."

"Thanks for the extra info," Saxon says gratefully to the rats, "Peoples, I believe Arin would know what shes doing, I'm pretty sure anyway. This is basically gonna be a kick in the door situation I suppose, unless our good rodent allies know of another route to get us in."

Arin smiles "Thank you for the vote of confidence, Saxon, but the truth is I'm not very experienced at doing ANYTHING in sewers, let alone planning attacks! But this 'kick-in-the-door' plan sounds like it could work." She twirls her staff "A good thwack to the head could put the guy out."

"I am in to this kicking in the door thing to but couldn't we just get the one, check the lock and then kick it in if we have to I mean I for one don't really want to fight 9 men if I don't have to. Although I am ready to tangle if I must."

"By the way who kicks in the door"
