(OOC: I know this is Tenebrynn and Vanitri's OOC plan, but I'll wait for one more to approve (maybe Ashnar who has been a bit quiet) and then proceed!)

(There was a bit of delay in getting Ashnar approved, but now he is).

Ashnar, after casting his mage armor, nods, readying his wand.

*Ashnar casts his Mage Armour (and anyone else can cast whatever buffs they like) and then Laynie moves tentatively towards the glowing azure seal. Placing her hand on the seal, she begins to glow herself, surrounded by a bright blue aura in a resonant harmony with the door's own glow. Then, there is a brilliant flash, and the seal's energy is absorbed into Laynie. The seal down, there is suddenly a strange queasy disorienting feeling of sudden shocking distortion, as temporal rifts burst violently outward from the sealed area, engulfing all gathered before the seal. After the initial shock, the rifts in space-time become less violent, though everyone feels...disoriented...different*
(OOC: Temporal distortions cause ripples in space time, causing aging effects--Vanitri becomes 5 years younger, Hogarth ages 4 years, Ashnar becomes 3 years younger, Rinaldo becomes 6 years younger, Tenebrynn ages 2 years (but remains in little girl form for the duration of the elixir regardless), Laynie ages 5 years) )
*Out of some of the rifts, pale-skinned corpselike creatures with glowing eyes begin to emerge, drawn here by the temporal distortions.*
(OOC: Rinaldo, Ashnar, and Hogarth are not surprised by the emergence of the creatures and Rinaldo can act first (the enemies have pretty good initiative, so some of them get to go after Rinaldo). With his new Wisdom, Tenebrynn is very very much surprised

(OOC: Huh, I dunno--what age was Vanitri to start with? (counting the two years at the Academy). Laynie is 8 + 5 = 13, so not old enough yet to reach 'Young Adult' age in the PH.)

Rinaldo feels refreshed by the wave, but is amazed to see Laynie growing and aging under his eyes, but that didn't distract him as he saw the creature appearing out of rift. "Not again!"
Rinaldo draw his rapier and quickly attack the creature, hoping to get him flat-footed, even if he doubt it will be affected by his precise strike. He deicide to stay cautious to evaluate his enemy, but somehow, the temporal rift distract him too much to give a precise strike.
[SBLOCK=OOC]Expertise at +5/-5. Attack: 4, Dam: 1, Sneak: 6.
With such a bad roll, I'm happy to have my Expertise at maximum. AC: 25[/SBLOCK]

*The creature Rinaldo had attacked tries to counter, but Rinaldo's blade whirls like a hurricane and deflects the blow easily.*
(OOC: Ashnar and Hogarth both go next, then the third enemy. The one that just entered from the rift goes first in the next round, and I'll roll in Vanitri and Tenebrynn as well)
