The Crux of the Matter

(OOC: I will admit that I hadn't completely convinced which way to play the drain (clearly enhancement bonuses and ability damage should not apply, but a case could be made for drain to apply as a permanent change to the base stat), but I decided against it and to go with my first instinct anyway because it would be incredibly unfun for Tenebrynn)

(OOC2: Which stuff? Is she going to be a little girl in a corset/brassiere or something? )

(ooc: thats not fun Bront, I'd suggest doing what I do and type your reply in notepad and copy/paste it in.

no not the brassier, I think she is too young for that. but jewelry would be fun: 2 rings, necklace (unless that's where Bront's item is), bracelets, circlet, and shoes if they fit.)

OOC: Ok, I think it's the flute, but I'm ultimately not sure. It could be the kitty doll too, as it has a * by it.

(OOC: *The asterisk by the kitty doll is the end of one of these in-character GM statements* )

[SBLOCK=Vanitri, Knowledge Local]The other symbol on the flute that Laynie can't identify is considered to be the personal sigil of Duskrider by some Freefolk, though others don't believe that he is a real person and thus think the symbol is just part of the legend

(OOC: Yes, this is the item for you from the Deck. However, there is also another thing of interest that was going to be there anyway, see below SBLOCK)[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=Vanitri, Spot and Int check]The short sword looks Morning's Blade.[/SBLOCK]

Vanitri will look at the flute, "I think this is mine. This is a freefolk symbol, I believe of the man I was named after."

"And this blade," He says, taking the short sword, "This looks familiar too."

He pulls it from it's scabard and twirls it expertly before sheathing it again. It almost seems to glow dimly. "Yes, I remember you."

"Mind if I grab a ring? And this I should hold on to for Laynie." He grabs the statue of Elayna.

OOC: Firefox works better :(.
