The Enworld background as a 3-D effect?

Has anyone else noticed that if you look at the screen on Enworld like you would a stereograph (those dot pictures with the hidden 3-D image), the background actually 'pops out' in a similar manner?

I have never been able to do one of those. Wish I knew why.

I had to trick myself into it. I imagined there was a ball on the screen, then menatlly moved it away. As it moved away, my focus changed with it. I eventually saw the image. Pain in the arse though...

Stereograms NEVER worked for me until today...

I tried Storyteller's method, but then instead, I ended up focusing in on the reflection of a brightly lit window on my screen - as soon as I focused in on the reflection instead of the screen proper, the image that curtis posted snapped into view.

Weird.

[EDIT: Now I am going to surf the web for stereograms to try out my new-found powers!]

not seeing it. nor Curtis's pics either.

You're not trying hard enough. Admittedly, it is an acquired skill. I can see them within a few seconds. You just have to know how to focus your eyes. Get fairly close to the picture, and focus your eyes before and after the screen. Once you see something kind of pop up in the picture, focus on that.

The first one is
two dolphins

The second one is
Star Trek's Enterprise
