The Faerie Woods [Knight Otu Judging]

ooc: Strangely, it didn't occur to me until this moment that I might be asking this but... is Persephone a virgin? Strictly for purposes of determining her suitability in the eyes of the Unicorns, of course.

"What?! Unicorns! I've always wanted to meet a unicorn. Aren't they good creatures? If the redcap has recruited them, then having a fey bane sword won't help. Let's talk to them. Aeric, Fjorn, you can vouch for us, can't you? We're only after the redcap, and we have the fey lord's permission to be here on that quest. The rest of you can back away, but I will meet these unicorns." Percy fusses a bit with her hair in an attempt to look more presentable. She slings her quiver of cold iron bolts onto her horse and let's the horse move away.

Gorefoot looks at her with concern. "Are you sure? If the Redcap is there you should have protection."

OOC: Yes. Percy is a virgin. First time I've ever had to mention that on a PC before. Abstinance is easier for an imaginary person than a real one, perhaps, but Percy is definitely waiting for her white knight. She's a big unicorn fan, too.

"If I get in trouble, Nars, I'll turn invisible and run for it. You back off. If the redcap attacks, hopefully the unicorns will realize he's been pulling their legs."

"Gorefoot has a point, Percy. I do not mean to sound pessimistic, but if the Redcap attacks thee with his scythe...I am uncertain if thou shalt be remaining standing. His swipes are like steel thunder." Ishmael rubs his recently mended torso nervously.

"Thou shouldst hath some means of defense. Mayhap myself or Gorefoot? But if thou truly believes that thou art safe, I shall harry thee no more and retreat. No time for arguments, after all"

Percy

"Oh, thanks Ishmael. Yes, please do stay. The unicorns surely could not mistake you for some marrauder."

Percy will then cast mage armor upon herself and await the unicorns.

"The, er, redcap has used the, ah, necklace and is gone. Shout if you ass-assit-assistance." Nars then moves back out of sight, knowing that if anyone looks like a forest marrauder, it is probably him.

Retreating from some glorified horses isn't exactly Rodimus's idea of a good course of action, but as he knows that both halflings are brave combatants, he trusts their judgement on this.

Need a few clarifications:

1. Please provide information on Ishmael's Chastity or lack thereof.
2. Are you waiting just beyond treeline, stepping into the crystal gardens, or something else?

OOG: 1) Ishmael is chaste and he's also abstinent when it comes to alcohol (strange given a dwarven mentor) and most other vices. He's also bashful as Paladins go ;)A good character reference for him would be a combat oriented Samwise Gamgee with wierd ancestors. Perhaps, his only flaws would be a thirst for vengeance, a terrible rage and bad luck when it comes to ancestral dragon types.

2) I had assumed that we're waiting for the Unicorns to come to us. But Ishmael will follow Percy's lead.
