The Fall of Manlich and Horrible affairs that come after

Indulgence is startled by the relentlessness of the attack. Struck and unable to move, she turns to Djiminik, and shouts, "Hit that one now! Go on!"

[Commander's Strike, on Djiminik; he gets basic melee attack and does damage +4 (Ind's intelligence modifier).]

[sblock=OOC]
Ok, I get that you want to move things along and want to avoid maps. I'm going to say that seems to remove a lot of the tactical elements. I'll accept that Indulgence loses her initial action-- If she was within 5 squares of Krai, she could have used Inspiring War Cry, which is why I asked for distances. I didn't expect that I would miss any chance of using an exploit that turn.

Also, you say the ghoul hits an AC18 -- Indulgence has an AC 23; was it a Fort attack, rather than an attack vs. AC? I don't mean to be so dense.

So many of the Warlord exploits are based on the tactical dimension -- both of Indulgence's at-wills, for instance depend on them -- Comander's strike (which I will use this round, in hopes of freeing up Djiminik to move) and wolf pack tactics, which if I read your message correctly will be irrelevant in this game, since flanks are automatically granted and don't need to be achieved through maneuver.

I understand wanting to move things along, and I'd like to get into your rhythm quickly.

Thanks, KS

Enjoying the life boon Terminus gets for destroying the creature, the little bit of energy cannot really lessen the impact of the hillgiants attack.
"To hell were you belong, scum!" he curses the nearest creature before summoning the powers of Agathys to sheath his body in black ice. Then he advances a bit towards the ghoulish creatures.

Djiminick, seeing the giant bust in, decides that maybe he should focus his efforts there.

He moves in on the giant, crashing into the giant's shins, trying to bring the big bad guy down.

He then hears Indulgence's inspiring words, causing him spin around and cleave his axe at the giant's midsection, following up with a number of small, rapid cuts.

[sblock=ooc]Step 1: Move Action: close with giant. If I can be adjacent to the giant and to any ghouls, I will.

Step 2: Standard Action: Use Spinning Sweep on the giant, marking him.Attack=28, Damage=16 and knocking him prone on a hit.*

Step 4: When Indulgence uses Commander's Strike, I attack the giant again.Attack=27, Damage=15*

Step 5: If any enemies begin their turn adjacent to me they take, in order: 10, 6, 2, 1, 5, 9, 6, 3 damage.[/sblock]

Kral Juno Dragonborn Paladin in trouble HP:65/77

Kral watches as the giant crushes down the wall and lift his magic bow at the new target.

Longbow: +7 vs AC (1d20+7=11) and damage 1[W]=1d10+1 dexterity - Add +1 damage for Weapon Focus -- Bow (1d10+2=10)

The next ranged basic attack you make with this weapon before the end of
your turn becomes a burst 1 centered on the target. Use your normal attack bonus for the basic attack, but against Fortitude. Each target hit takes thunder damage equal to the normal damage you would deal with a ranged basic attack with the weapon.

Djim Moves Forward to the Giant, Fighting back the oppurtunly attacking ghouls, and Savaging the giants leg forcing it to the ground (28 hits for 21 dmg, 27 hits for 20 dmg) The Giant is Prone

Prone grants combat advantage to those in melee with the giant
Prone grants +2 all defences from ranged attacks from non adjacent
Prone grants -2 to attack roles

Kral fires his magical bow missing horribly
(Save passed natural 20, all conditions are wiped)

Indulgence calls out to Djiminik who then soundly pounds on the giant (see 2nd attack above)

Armil muses the situation

Terminus move fading into the background, summoning the armour of agythis and cursing the nearest ghoul

The Giant stands up and lashes out with its greatclub
24 vs Ac on Djiminik for 14 damage

Top O the round,
and also if I can get a HP shout out from everyone I am at x of x hp and my bloodied value is X

would also like to remind everyone that second wind is an encounter power that lets you use a healing surge, requires a standard action and gives you +2 defences until the start of your next turn.

also Djiminik has a mistake, I believe pact initiate only gives access to hellish rebuke 1/encounter in addittion to the trained skill. That means no Warlock's Curse as your a fighter? Could you clear this up a bit in the ooc thread. Thanks

Indulgence, realizing that the ghouls enjoy the taste of her tiefling flesh, growls as she watches Djiminik. The ghouls can wait, she thinks, as she raises her shield, and calls out to Djiminik, "That's the way! Shake it off!" And with that, there is a gutteral growl that escapes her throat, as her sword lashes out suddenly at one of the ghouls.

(move) immobilized, unable to shift
(standard) surge (+16 hp, +2 to defenses)
(action point) Lion's roar (Enc 7): Djiminik can spend a surge, and he gains an additional 5 hp; longsword attack against a ghoul-- 28 to hit, 11 damage if successful.

Djiminick spins in a rapid circle, slamming his axe through all of the adjacent ghouls and finally, into the giant. His legs feeling weak, he tries to shake of the mystical poisons of the gouls, and feels the feleing come back into his legs. Djiminick continues to hack into those surrounding him.

Upon hearing more inspiration from Indulgence, Djiminick shrugs off much of the hurts he's suffered at the hands of ghouls. He peers warily at the giant's club.

I just glad he hasn't hit me yet... he thinks to himself.

[sblock=OOC] No curse. My bad, Thinking of a different character.

Don't stack the conditions, you are either immobilized or you are not, in this case you are not cause you successfully saved at the end of your turn (your first save)
