Thor: Ragnarok? I mean, the core plot is a remnant of the past showing up to take over the seemingly good kingdom, and in the process revealing its sordid history and that the reason it's so rich in comparison to its counterparts is that they used to run around kicking everybody's butt and taking their stuff. Nah, there aren't any real-world parallels there. None.I loved Thunderbolts, to a degree that I haven't enjoyed an MCU movie in several years now. On top of that, it's arguably the first MCU movie that's overtly about something, with focused, layered metaphors from start to finish.
