28. The Hulk -- The Hulk is one-dimensional, but Spike isn't even a hero, he's a bad guy

Spike not a hero? He won his soul back and set himself on the path of the righteous, fighting against his own vampiric nature- something even Angel didn't do.

As for the Hulk being one-dimensional, while at times this has been true, he has nevertheless been one of the most multifaceted characters in comics under certain scribes (Peter David's 12 year run being a notable example).

Spike would be sooooo annoyed by that characterization! :D

Maybe, but in both rounds to date I've voted for him because I disliked the other guy more. That doesn't mean I liked his redemption plotline (the Buffy Season 7/Angel Season 5 Spike is a hero, but I still think the scoobies should have dusted him back in Buffy Season 4 when they had the chance...), just that I don't like "Hulk smash" as a signature line...

Although, really, I'd be perfectly happy seeing most of the guys I voted out get into the finals, unlike last time (the only reason more people didn't vote for Gamera was because not enough people have seen the modern Gamera movies).

Demiurge out.
