That reminds me of a trend I started at the local bar in my neighborhood like, ten years ago. I ordered it by name, but the bartender hadn't heard of it so I told her what was in it. Soon, everyone within earshot was also ordering it just to try it. "That's right, it really is the only good one!" a few people would remark. It ended up on the bar menu for a couple of years after. Oh, Portland.
